That's actually a really good comb-over. I have way more hair than that and his looks better lol.

A lot of people commenting on this comb over being ridiculous. Thing was, in the 1970s, when this film takes place, medium-to-long length parted hairstyles were very popular amongst men. Shaved heads were not. So that probably played a major part in developing this character (plus the guy Irving is based on had a comb over)
